  This is my number one favourite health food store in all of Australia! My well being and health are thanking the exceptional staff for their generous help and incredible knowledge. The customer service levels are off the charts with the highest of standards. As a sales trainer, I understand what great quality service levels are - and it is obviously is due to the training, work culture, professionalism and integrity of the fabulous owners, Sue and Les. I look forward to each and every time I visit this gorgeous place. It actually makes my day being there. It feels like I am a part of the family with their warmth and genuine care for ensuring I leave not only with the best products tailored especially for me, but also with a glow in my heart from the whole experience. I highly recommend Semaphore Health Foods to everybody who needs a little nurturing and some sunshine - and let's face it, in these times - we could all use a dose of that, right!

  I keep adding this as it keeps getting deleted! Exceptionally poor service!
  Never have i been treated so badly by ANY business,
  Let alone this one. Been shopping here since we moved to area 1 year ago..
  One staff member on months ago was putrid, abusive and exceptionally aggressive all over hand sanitizer!!
  On entry i explained i was allergic and tried to say i wouldn't touch anything i wasn't buying s i knew exactly what i needed but one of the staff demanded to know if i had my own sanitizer to use. Again explained highly allergic and tried to say i would be in and out. I then asked how long this policy was in place as i shop here fortnightly (spend hundreds in this shop monthly) and never been told i had to sanitise even if i am allergic.
  Staff member kicked me out of shop saying she would call police as i was so aggressive. I was mortified, as was the other staff member who was looking very embarrassed and appologetic. Owner needs to confirm this with the short haired staff member. Horrible Staff member refused to give owners name but gave card. All the while she was waving the covid Marshal tag. Being a covid Marshal myself i know there is nothing in there about treating people like this.
  When i walked out 2 ladies were standing outside, both looked mortified at me and turned away saying they heard everything and were also disgusted.
  Unfortunately for owners, i wont be back, i will also share this experience far and wide.
  Absolutely no need to be treated like this...

  Am so happy that there is a store in semaphore. I was able to by some teas that I've always wanted to try, saves me going to the city or Inglefarm.

  This review is specifically for Hannah who served me today. Hannah was kind, caring and gave exceptional customer service this morning during my time in SHF. She was knowledgeable and was a breathe of fresh air in the retail world. I haven't always had this service in this shop - so if you do head in ask for Hannah.

  Health shops can be a tad daunting when looking for items your not sure of. Staff are rude and condescending. Not the first time either. Won't be back.
